What better way to spend some time with the aged than watch a movie together!!! One Sunday evening we promptly made movie plans with the grandpa’s and grandma’s of St Anthony’s home, Bandra.
We set of a projector at the home and arranged for a DVD of the good old classic “Sound of Music” Must say it was so much of fun watching the movie with them, needless to say it was much more fun than watching a movie in a theatre!
The collective “shhhhhhhh’s” when anyone made a noise, the “awwwww’s” when the hero confessed his love, the silent tears during a touching scene, the humming of “Doe a deer…” , the after-movie gossiping session and eating supper together were one of the few beautiful moments which we took back home with us .. It was damn good fun
