Ashadaan is an NGO which caters to multiple projects and is a home to physically and mentally disabled children, a needy woman and AIDS patients. Kshana decided to have an event one Sunday with the children who had variety of disabilities.
We decided to show them a movie, Since a lot of them couldn’t talk or understand speech, we decided on a visually appealing movie “Charlie Chaplin”. They laughed to the antics of Charlie Chaplin that day. We had arranged food for them. The highlight of the event for us was the time spent after the movie. We just played with these kids and spoke to them for a long time. The experience was unbelievable !!! One had to be there to experience it…
